Favorite Southern African Destination: The Delta is remarkable, a wonderful wetland paradise within a desert! I was struck, flying over the Delta how there is just this HUGE space, with nothing in it but vegetation and wildlife - as far as the eye can see! The sun glints on the water as you fly overhead, you can spots herds or lone animals grazing and going about there daily lives - we really are visitors to their world.
