Favourite Southern African Destination: 'Namibia – the openness, quiet, stillness, incredible beauty and the fact that only 1.5 million people live in this vast country so there is always a feeling of space. Wonderful icons are sand-dunes, skeleton coast and Caprivi strip along the Kunene River.'

Why choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination: 'Southern Africa has space, a colourful population, many different cultures, very hospitable people, wonderful wines, the wildlife is difficult to beat in terms of variety across the country, quality of accommodation is some of the best in the world, and the history and influence by many European countries over the last 400 years is most interesting to follow i.e. the Boer wars with Britain etc.'

It doesn’t get much better than this.'
Why choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination:
Pearl Valley, Arabella, Simola, Pezula, Gary Player Country Club, Fancourt, Wildlife reserves in The Kruger National Park, The Eastern Cape and Madikwe regions, Table Mountain, Wine Farms, The Cradle of Mankind, Jeffreys Bay, Cape Town beaches and my list could go on and on – a World of experiences in one country!

DEBORAH WYNNE
WEB MANAGER and STRATEGIST
Countries visited: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Malaysia, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho, South Africa extensively.
Favourite Southern African Destination: ‘Too many to choose only one, but a destination very close to my heart is the West Coast of South Africa … characterised by ‘real’ and exceedingly hospitable people, uncomplicated living and a slower pace, ample breathing space, the stillness of the veld, the sound of  beetles buzzing in the midday heat, sun, sea, surf, endless white beaches and unforgettable sunsets. After a few days here people acquire a look on their faces of complete contentment’.

Why choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination: ‘Something to delight everyone, an abundance of possibilities … from top restaurants and night-clubbing in cosmopolitan Cape Town to walking safaris and luxury tented accommodation in Kruger National Park; from tropical waters of Mozambique to gorilla-trekking in East Africa; from whale-watching off the South African coast to soaring over rose hued desert sands of Namibia in a hot air balloon; from witnessing the wildebeest migration to hovering over Victoria Falls in a helicopter … add to this the incredibly warm-hearted people. Southern Africa will captivate you.

JENNY DIAMOND
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER
Countries Visited: All around South Africa, throughout the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mauritius, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia and Egypt.
Favourite Southern African Destination: ‘Outside of South Africa it must be Mauritius – the locals make you feel welcome from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Their only mission in life is to ensure that you will have a holiday of a lifetime. Their standard response of  ‘No Problem!’ implies that they are prepared to do just about anything to make your stay a memorable one and so keep you returning to Ile Maurice again and again!’
Why Choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination: ‘If you only have time to visit one country for your vacation then it must be South Africa! We are truly a world in one country and as the Rainbow Nation we have it all! Some people call it Madiba magic! We are known for our friendliness and generous hospitality, we offer a variety of cuisines from all over the world, our beautiful historical wine estates easily match the best of Europe and we have extreme and adventure sports to die for! Our forefathers left us with a history and culture of such tremendous diversity that you will never be bored listening to our stories – some of them about our turbulent past – the good and the bad, some about our great achievements against all odds and some about our hopes and dreams for the future! Remember we produced the first African in space – Mark Shuttleworth! Of course, there is always the great African safari experience to leave you breathless if all else fails! The Big Five are waiting for you!’

SANDRA DEVOTI
INBOUND MANAGER

Favourite Southern African Destination: ‘Without doubt, it would be the Okavango Delta in Botswana. A wilderness ‘wonderland’ – the excursions on the mokoro dug-out boats bring one very close to nature: no sounds other than the singing for birds and the gentle lull of the water…allowing one to get rather close to game drinking along the river banks (and the hippos en route!)’
Why choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination: ‘Southern Africa is a magical region…visit us once, and you will just want to keep coming back! Our people, landscapes, game viewing, arts, history, cuisine (and wines!) reach out, inviting you to share with us the pulsating rhythm of AFRICA!

The Delta is remarkable, a wonderful wetland paradise within a desert! I was struck, flying over the Delta how there is just this HUGE space, with nothing in it but vegetation and wildlife - as far as the eye can see! The sun glints on the water as you fly overhead, you can spots herds or lone animals grazing and going about there daily lives - we really are visitors to their world.
Why choose Southern Africa as your next holiday destination:
Diversity and large variety of interests for all clientele.
