The Belle Mare Plage is home to two golf courses - the 'Johnnie Walker Classic' and the 'Mauritius Open'. The courses are the best on the island. Green fees are free of charge on both courses for hotel guests.

The main restaurant, the Citronnelle has an outstanding choice of international menus and buffets. The Belle Mare Plage Hotel offers accommodation in 236 rooms which are set in two storey houses amongst the hotel’s lush tropical gardens. Each suite has its own private balcony or terrace with sweeping views over the gardens or beach and is tastefully furnished in warm colours.

They have every facility including air-conditioning, television, mini-bar separate sitting area and large en-suite bathrooms.

In addition to the golf courses at the resort, the Belle Mare Plage has superb leisure facilities including four clay tennis courts where lessons and clinics are available daily; there is an open-air squash court, a complete fitness centre, a scenic jogging path, two jacuzzis and a sauna.

Water sports are particularly popular on the clear sparkling waters.
