The Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to the largest elephant population in the world. This magnificent reserve draws life from the Chobe River and is surrounded by protected wildlife sanctuaries, with large numbers of big game moving freely through these protected reserves. Straddling the game-rich area between Chobe and Zimbabwe’s Matetsi Reserve lies the Kasane Forest Reserve. It is here in the Lesoma Valley that you will find Elephant Valley Lodge.

The camp’s unique position ensures that spectacular game-viewing continues long after guests have left the Chobe National Park. The lodge’s active waterhole is frequented by numerous species, including buffalo, elephant and leopard. These sightings present superb photographic opportunities from the comfort and safety of either the viewing hide or the camp’s deck areas, which provide guests with game-viewing opportunities throughout the day and night.

Sturdy acacias reach high above the camp and extend canopies of shade under which 20 Meru-style luxury safari tents can accommodate a maximum of 40 guests. Each tent features twin beds, en-suite shower and toilet, tea- and coffee-making facility, mini-safes, fans and covered decks.

The main areas of the lodge feature a swimming pool, lounge, outdoor dining areas, curio shop and bush dinner venue. Guests are encouraged to participate in all safari activities, which include safaris in open vehicles in the Chobe National Park, and boat cruises in our custom-built Orca boats, approaching game either in or near the water.
