Vumbura Plains Camp in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta, on the edge of a large floodplain where lechwe often splash their way charmingly through the water. This luxury camp offers both land and water activities in a 60 000-hectare (148 000-acre) private concession that has a wonderful variety of habitats and a great diversity of wildlife. The camp comprises two separate seven-roomed satellite camps, each with its own raised dining, lounge and bar area tucked beneath a canopy of cool, shady indigenous trees and with a magnificent vista across the floodplains.

A stargazing deck with comfortable cushions protrudes into the floodplain, a place to gaze upwards or a convivial camp-fire setting. What makes the Vumbura Concession so unique is its position. This position encompasses such a wide variety of habitats and species that it has representatives of just about every animal that occurs in the Okavango biome.

Little Vumbura is a compact camp with just six tented rooms. Each room is well positioned to maximise views of the surrounding landscape from the suite as well as for guest privacy.

Every room enjoys full en suite facilities as well as a separate outdoor shower, private viewing decks with ample space to relax in comfort and privacy.
Little Vumbura has full bar facilities in the pub as well as a dining room where delicious three-course meals are served (often the main course is served buffet style). There is also an outdoor dining area on a large wooden deck for alfresco meals on clear nights.
