Jock Safari Lodge is a private lodge set in the heart of Africa’s premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park. Situated in the southern area of the Kruger National Park, the lodge has exclusive traversing rights in an area that is regarded as one of the best for Big Five sightings. Jock Safari Lodge is named after Sir Percy Fitzpatrick’s animal classic Jock of the Bushveld, a book written at the time of South Africa’s first gold rush. At Main Jock, the 12 individual thatched suites, screened by lush trees and reed walls, offer guests privacy, creating a unique experience of gracious old-world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.

With only three suites, Little Jock ensures that personal service is always a priority for the lodge’s friendly staff. Each of the three luxurious suites is equipped with its own public areas and amenities including both indoor and outdoor showers. This lodge can be booked either as a whole with its own personal chef and game ranger or as individual suites. Morning and evening drives in covered 4x4 Land Rovers are conducted by highly experienced rangers. Traversing through the reserve, guests will be staggered by the diversity of the wildlife. Enthralling sightings of elephants enjoying a morning mud bath or a sea of buffalo horns rising from the grass as they lie resting in the increasing heat of the day, as well as lions feasting on a fresh kill, await visitors.

Game Drives
Morning and evening drives in covered 4x4 Land Rovers are conducted by highly experienced rangers. Traversing through the reserve, guests will be staggered by the diversity of the wildlife. Enthralling sightings of elephants enjoying a morning mud bath or a sea of buffalo horns rising from the grass as they lie resting in the increasing heat of the day, as well as lions feasting on a fresh kill, await visitors. .  A good vantage point can be chosen at dusk for more wildlife viewing or, en route back to the lodge, when nocturnal animals such as leopard, hyena and lion are often seen.

Spa Treatments
Jock Safari Lodge has a spa - one of the best in the Mantis Spa Collection. It is fully-equipped with therapy and relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy bath, steam room and sauna. Therapies are also available in the relaxed atmosphere of one’s own room.
