Etali’s delectable cuisine is a contemporary fusion of traditional African with an Asian twist, offering a reinvention of gourmet dining in the bush. Meals are light and healthy, with lots of fresh seasonal and organically grown vegetables, fruit and herbs.The Madikwe plains offer sightings of Africa’s Big Five, including the endangered black rhino, the African wild dog – known as the world’s most endangered canine – cheetah, giraffe and many other glorious species.

Accommodation at Etali Safari Lodge is in eight luxurious air-conditioned suites, each set apart for total privacy in its own bushveld domain.

Big comfortable beds with fine crisp linen promise an unforgettable night’s sleep beneath the thatched roof.

For families, Etali offers a Family Suite, alternatively for those travelling with slightly older children the lodge does offer two slightly smaller back-to-back suites. These are the only two rooms in the camp with a connecting deck and no outside shower – however, the rooms do share a heated plunge pool.

Among the services and facilities at the Etali Safari Lodge is the wonderful wellness centre and spa. Here guests can enjoy traditional massages from around the world as well as special African hand and foot rituals and facial treatments.

The lodge also boasts a gym.
