Puku Ridge camp is situated in the remote, wildlife-rich South Luangwa National Park. Named for the Puku antelope that inhabits the Kakumbi Dambo (floodplain), which the camp overlooks, Puku Ridge Camp is built on a hillside, providing stunning vistas of the floodplain and the wildlife that frequents it. The camp is small and intimate and has been constructed to blend in with the local surroundings. Each of the seven luxury oversized tents has a comfortably furnished sitting area, en-suite facilities with a stunning outdoor shower and a private wooden deck where guests can view game from the privacy of their own rooms.

There is a variety of sleeping configurations to suit each guest, with tents having options of twin or double beds. Each tent also has mosquito nets, ceiling fans and hairdryer. Tea and coffee are brought to the rooms each morning by a room attendant. There is a full range of game drives and night drives in the South Luangwa National Park using open 4x4 vehicles driven by a knowledgable guide. Guests may avail themselves of two activities per day. The emphasis in the area is the wonderful opportunies for walking safaris and night drives. On night game drives, guests are to return to camp by 8pm.

Accommodation at Puku Ridge Camp is in six luxury oversized tents. Each has a comfortably furnished sitting area, en-suite facilities with a stunning outdoor shower and a private wooden deck where guests can game view from the privacy of their own rooms.

The abundant wildlife along the dambo (shallow wetlands) offers great opportunities for photography, whether guests choose to explore the wild on foot with a keen-eyed guide, or range further afield in a safari vehicle. And in the evenings, enjoy dinner with the night sounds of Africa for a soundtrack.
