Livingstone is located approximately 11 kilometres away from Victoria Falls, in Zambia. Its distance from the Falls puts it at a slight disadvantage when compared to Victoria Falls Town, but it has plenty of history and culture to make up for its location.

Named after David Livingstone, the explorer, Livingstone has 368 cultural heritage sites, ranging from archaeological sites to historical buildings.

The best way to explore the town is on a guided walk which takes visitors on a tour of many of Livingstone’s interesting cultural sites.

There are three museums located in the town, the most interesting being the Livingstone Museum, which is located opposite the Tourist Office.
